The purpose and development goals of the Department are mainly aimed at cooperating with the national promotion of higher technical and vocational education policies, social and economic development needs, and the development goals of the university. Also adhering to the principles of honest(humanities), respect (ethics), perseverance (willing to do things), new (innovative) school motto and the promotion of the concept of holistic education. The three development goals (Globalization, Industrialization and Electronation) along with the three forces (Employability, Innovation ability and Entrepreneurship), have put forward a focus on Academic and Industry Collaboration. Innovation as principle and the practice-oriented three directions, set the department's educational targets. Students must strengthen three core professional competencies: practical ability, integration ability, and innovation ability, in order to become professional design talents for the industry needs.
